Acceptability of Printed Boards
IPC-A-600 covers what a bare printed board should look like, inside and out. Students learn to recognize acceptable and nonconforming conditions in the base material, plated-through holes, internal copper and planes.
Topics include surface and subsurface imperfections, the conductive pattern, hole characteristics, solder mask, marking, dimensional characteristics and flex circuits.
